Product Description

Two powerhouses of pop culture-- McFarlane Toys and Microsoft -- are collaborating to produce action figures based on the fantastically popular video game series Halo. From the incredible 3rd entry in the Halo trilogy, comes this awesome 6-inch scale action figure! Order yours now!

Make way for the ODST! If you don't, he'll "drop in" on you anyway. This extraordinary action figure is a yellow variant ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) from the hit game series. He features multiple points of articulation and comes with terrific accessories like his battle rifle with sniper scope. The exclusive 6-inch scale character is a limited edition, so drop whatever you're doing and order him while you still can! Note: Photo is of a painted prototype. Final product subject to change.

In Halo, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODSTs) are an elite special-forces group of the UNSCDF (United Nations Space Command Defense Force) Marine Corps, commanded by Naval Special Warfare. They are dropped into their mission areas by an HEV (Human Entry Vehicle) from low-orbit or "slipspace" drop. It's an all-volunteer outfit, and as mentioned in the book Halo: The Flood, it takes a "special kind of crazy" to join. The ODST often find themselves at odds with the rest of the UNSC Marine Corps and some view themselves as above the Marines. They're analogous to various types of special-forces personnel, such as Marine Force Recon and Navy SEALs.

GREAT

This toy was great! I loved it! Pros: He could hold his gun perfectly, armor snapped on tight even after removal, he was flexible, he could stand on his own without support, the battle rifle was very detailed! Cons: Crappy paint job (still looks good), his left hand would not move and I snapped it off (I glued it back so no worries!), a little hard to put his battle rifle on his back. Overall it's a great toy!
Fun, while it lasted...

Reviewer: J. Loader,
My 8-year-old enjoys everything HALO. The action figure looks nice, but (as with most) has quite a few small parts. Overall, not bad.

Reviewer: Richard Shaw,
I have purchased two for my son both broke within the first 3O minutes after opening the package. Extremely poor construction.
